Krush Lounge: Sadie Jasper Her Kingdom Come Release

krush-lounge-suz-1400x1400-white-logo-2

Meet Sadie Jasper! We’re celebrating her first full length album Her Kingdom Come, out now! Sadie’s style is a blend of genres from pop and rock to hip-hop and R&B. Her songwriting is chalk full of self reflection and living through the struggle and at the same time, she’s coming through it, hopeful, powerful, liberated. Sadie’s story started in Texas growing up in a musical family, a religious family and it brought her to the Central Coast as she was coming of age and trying to break free from the oppressive religious culture she knew. A young wife, a young mother and a huge talent, Sadie Jasper is one to watch.

Ahead of this full length debut, she took home 3 New Times Music Awards last Fall, winning in R&B Blues and Hip-Hop as well as taking the Live Performance Award among some stuff competition that night. Enjoy a stripped down, studio performance of her song “Not Here In The Now” along with her award winner tracks in this new Krush Lounge!

Find Sadie Jasper online at sadiejasper.com or on your favorite streaming and social platforms.

Her music video for that same song joins videos from around the globe in the SLO Film Fest Music Video Showcase at Kreuzberg California next Saturday, 4/27. Suzanne hosts! Tickets available at SLOFilmFest.org.

Music, film and wine! This project is the perfect blend of art forms and it’s coming to SLO Film Fest! Talking with film composer Brook Munro and filmmaker Kyle Plummer. Brook’s album, Harvest in Twelve Parts, brings the sounds of winemaking to life in song. Kyle’s camera captures the process in his film, Harvest Calls. Together, they’ve created a complete project that honors the art of winemaking through a very unique concept that finds a throughline in the sounds and sights of the arts of winemaking, creating and album and making a film. The setting? Beautiful Edna Valley at Claiborne & Churchill Winery. Join us as we jump into the journey of these two friends in this new Krush Lounge! See the film at SLO Film Fest on April 29th and at the Paso Encore on May 2! Win a special prize pack with screening tickets, a vinyl copy of the album and other goodies! Suzanne + Brigit Binns celebrate “Rotten Kid”, a new memoir!

suz-krush-daypart-ig-share-1080x1080

Jump in with us as Brigit takes us along with stories from her childhood in 1960s LA to some troubled teen years and her great escape to college, then to Europe and cooking school and beyond. Her perseverance has led her to a career as a prolific cookbook author and a happy ending, or, we’d say next chapter, here in Paso Robles. In this coming-of-age memoir—co-starring her alcoholic actor father Edward Binns and glamorous but viciously smart narcissistic mother—Brigit reveals how simultaneous privilege and profound neglect led her to seek comfort in the kitchen, eventually allowing her to find some sense of self-worth. A memoir sauteed in Hollywood stories, world travel, and always, the need to belong. Rotten Kid: A Succulent Story of Survival is out now at BrigitBinns.com!
