The soundtrack to Disney’s “Encanto” is No 1 on the Billboard 200 for the eighth week, while the song from the film “We Don’t Talk About Bruno” is No. 2 after previously holding the No. 1 spot for five consecutive weeks. The track holds the No. 1 position on the Streaming Songs chart for the ninth consecutive week.
“We Don’t Talk About Bruno” is the only song from a Disney animated or live-action film to top the Hot 100 for multiple weeks. The “Encanto” soundtrack has now spent the most weeks at the top of the albums charts since Morgan Wallen’s “Dangerous: The Double Album” did so for 10 weeks from January- March 2021.
Kodak Black‘s “Back for Everything” debuted at number-two, his highest-charting album since “Dying to Live,” which hit number-one in 2018. Rounding out the top five are past chart-toppers “Dangerous: The Double Album” by Morgan Wallen at #3, “DS4Ever” by Gunna at #4, and The Weeknd‘s best-of compilation “The Highlights” at #5.
